OKay help me here. Last movie he was in the 70/80s at the end, Xavier was rescuing the children at the power plant. Now we are fast forwarding 30 years to modern day Japan? What happened to the Xmen movies? Did the happen even or are we skipping them? Why would he leave the Xmen? At the end of the last Xmen movie he was staying at the institute to help rebuild the school.

 Lazarus, Wolverine always had adventures and storylines not involving the other X-men. 

The blades look the right length to me. If they were longer he wouldn't be able to bend his wrist or elbow when retracted. The blades can't be longer than his forearm.

Thirty-five years of reading the comics I don't think I've ever seen Wolvering in a suit and tie.

Diggity you missed the question. I have no issues with the solo Wolvie movie. My question was the last movie has us seeing Wolvie staying at the school to help rebuild, it was only him, Storm and some students left. Why all of the sudden is he in Japan?  That is what I am curious about. One thing about the Xman franchise is the continuity is for shit. And that is what I was wondering how they would address that or just ignore it this time.
