All Jackman's movies have to be musicals now. He should sing as he slices and dices ninjas.

Hugh Jackman singing as he kills ninjas.

Don't even question the continuity of these movies. That has been the main gripe for most of us X-men fans here on Mania.

I just read a rumour that Singer is planning to "negate" X-men Last Stand in the continuity. Meaning, it never happened, with Days of Future Past.

Depowered Magneto, Mystique and Rogue. Dead Jean, Xavier and Cyclops. I'm sure he wants to right some wrongs. Still a continuity nightmare no matter what he does. As I said before, First Class should have been a reboot so we wouldn't have to worry about this crap.

Unfortunately, a friend that has an inside scoop on stuff like this has told me that all the things he has heard or seen about this movie, really isn't great.......... But i guess we'll have to take that with a grain of salt.

who really gives a fuck anymore?? might watch it for the action and eye candy fx, if that. i think he looks that way because he migbt be working with someone or because he cleand up because of his new girl, being jakuza and what not. who knows? don't botber me that he bought a suit at the men's Wearhouse...

Laz, those lyrics are great! I could actually see him singing that in some dramatic scene in my head.

Yeah, read an article somewhere Singer consulted with James Cameron about time travel since he is currenlty the expert on applying science in films. He wants to do lots of clean-up to the X-Verse continuity. I have high hopes for Future Past and this Wolverine. Here's wishing my hopes come true.

think they can forget the really bad version of Deadpool?

MrJawbreakingEquilibrium 1/31/2013 2:18:24 PM

They said they will explain the continuity problems in the next X-men movies using time travel. But The Wolverine takes place after part 3. So - everything happened.

redhairs99 1/31/2013 2:22:06 PM

That's weird.  This is the first time I've heard this movie being in modern day Japan.  I thought this was a sequel to Origins Wolverine but a prequel to Singer's previous X-Movies.

wildwestie 1/31/2013 2:25:05 PM

so this was probably covered before but imbd shows Jean grey as rumored. what the flop? is that part of the whole clean up thing? when this movie is watched, there is going to be so much record keeping going on; "now is this before or after the last movie?" "does this go along with singers xmen our the rebooted first class?" was first class a reboot?" "what year is it?" commence tearing your hair out, though it's probably not worth losing your hair. point is, i don't want to be thinking of all that during a movie...
