The pic of Thranduil is awesome; PJ has nailed the characters visually, hopefully the story will live up to the same standards.

More Middle Earth... HELL yeah!

Everytime I see the trailer it puts me right back in Middle-earth and makes me wish it was Dec. already despite the fact that it ranks below LOTR to me

 I still don't know how they are going to make this into 3 movies.
