Some new movie stills/screenshots for INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL have appeared online over at IMDB's Talkback Forums. The stills show Indiana Jones holding his gun and his whip, ready for a new adventure. There's also a new photo of Harrison Ford and Shia LaBeouf inspecting what looks to be ruins of some kind, both characters using flashlights. The next Indy installment stars Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeouf, Cate Blanchett, Ray Winstone, Karen Allen, John Hurt and Jim Broadbent. Steven Spielberg is directing the film, based on a screenplay by David Koepp and Jeff Nathanson.

There are two major Paramount/Dreamworks releases in the next two months. Paramount's Sweeney Todd will hit theaters on December 21, 2007. The following film is Paramount & JJ Abrams' Cloverfield, which will hit theaters on January 18, 2008. Expect the first Indy trailer to be attached to one of these films.

INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL hits theaters May 22, 2008.

Here's the new photos.

Ford looks like he stepped out of a geriatric clinic, old bastard should be put out to pasture. Nah just kidding, he looks great, that's him on the bottom right in the black leather jacket, no?

Can't wait to see Harrison having fun on the big screen again. Instead of his serious performances. I always liked his cynical/humorous roles best.

Hey look kids it's Grampa Jones! Stay off his lawn or he'll use the whip on ya! BTW What's with Shia dressed like an extra from Grease?

Guess what, folks! We ALL get old! (Unless we do something stupid during a moment of drunken debauchery!) So ya know what? All the wisecracks about Harrison Ford and the Temple of the Retirement Home don't wash.... if you're half as active when you reach your sixties, count yourself grateful.

The fanboy inside me was wonderfully satisfied after seeing these pics. I mean, I already thought Harrison looked awesome, in that first official still of the "new Indy" sitting in that chair..The picture Spielberg released over the summer.

But seeing that new snapshot with him holding a gun and a whip in each hand. Fanboy happiness.

Harrison looks effing awesome, the look and feel of the scenes we have seen so far seem great and I cannot wait for this film to hit theaters again.

Harrison sporting a cobwebbed hat had me chuckling too..Full circle to his cobwebbed outfit in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I think this movie might actually be better than Firewall. ;-)

I don't mean to pick on the excellent Mr. Ford's age/appearance, because I pray I look that good at 66, but I have THE title, should they ever do Ind. Jones 5 - Indiana Jones and the Artificial Hip
