I am really looking forward to this!  I liked the original for what it was, a set up movie.  I had a huge problem with the accellerator suits but I was ok witgh the rest of it, unlike many a fanboi I read on here.  Ive come to not set the bar extremely high for Hollywood anymore.  And frankly when I can find the time to go to the movies with friends, I go to shut my mind down and be entertained, which I was by the first one.  I was also entertained by JJ Trek in the theaters but subsuquent viewings(plus knowing peiople in the movie) have punched many a hole in what alot of people consider the Trek Rebirth....  But I digress....

I found the first one entertaining enough. I'm glad they got rid of the mouth on Snake Eyes and Marlon Wayans. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Hey I'm with you RodThunderBalls. For me it was easy to enjoy the cheesy fun first film because I was never a big fan of the Joes. But I admit this second part looks like it may be better with the cheesiness taken down a couple of notches

first movie to me was like watching the cartoons only live action. i diden't mind the accelerator suits, it had everything  what a GI-joe movie should have. however this second GI-joe does look o.k and some what darker than the first one . loveing the ninja theme...

This is what a GI Joe movie should be more like. NOT the 1st one guys. It should have a Special Forces of Special Forces bad ass Mother F*ckers type of feel to it. Not a bunch of whacky morons in unbelievble ironman suits running faster than cars and getting hit by trucks while cracking Wayan's jokes, lips on Snakeyes ridiculousness. Glad you enjoyed it and stuff, but i'd like to burn that 1st movie out of my brain's memory banks. They couldn't even get the right language of the japanese culture correct in those flashback scenes of the 2 ninjas. They were speaking Korean! Well according to my friend, but i totally trust him cuz he IS korean. That alone speaks of the production of the rest of the movie. Anyways, I digress as well.....
