Today's the day Vivendi Universal Games releases JURASSIC PARK: OPERATION GENESIS for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC platforms. Unlike previous JP games, OPERATION GENESIS finally allows players the opportunity to design their own dinosaur kingdoms in addition to being an action game.
Gamers start off creating the shape of their island and then move on to build the locations where their visitors will be able to look at their thunder lizards. You will also be able to select which dinosaur species you want to genetically engineer for your park.
The second portion of OPERATION GENESIS is an action game once the dinosaurs get loose. Using a helicopter you can rescue stranded attendees while trying to pen the roaming dinosaurs and regain control of Jurassic Park. 12 missions are included.
Every attempt was made to faithfully recreate the look of the dinosaurs in the game as well as their temperment and habits. Multiple dinosaur species co-exist in certain parts of the island and the game's AI allows for interaction among the prehistoric animals.
JURASSIC PARK: OPERATION GENESIS has a retail price of $49.95 and has been rated Teen by the ESRB.
