I saw the first few minutes clip the other day.  Although a friend of mine said he saw another one...I'll have to see if this is accurate, or if it's just the promo that's also on this page.

Man....it's almost orgasmic.....If someone can find me another show where there was this much enthousiasm for the last season of ''said'' show, let me know cause I can't think of anything.

In addition to that 1-minute promo, there are now two (or three, or four, depending on how you count them) longer sneak preview clips at abc.com. I won't give details of what happens in them, but just saying who appears in them could be considered a spoiler, so. . .

1. There's the 2-minute clip already mentioned in the comments at Joe Oesterle's Lost article, which may or may not be the first two minutes of the premiere. Jack & Rose are in it.
2. There's a 3-minute clip with Ben & "Locke," plus Richard and the people waiting outside the temple, that picks up where they left off in the season 5 finale. (This clip is "from Verizon," so it may have been an Verizon V-Cast exclusive when first released.)
3. There's the 4-minute clip embedded above that includes 2 minutes from the end of season 5 followed by the same 2 minutes with Jack & Rose in clip #1.
4. There's a 2-1/2-minute clip with cast interviews about the final season.

No spoilers here, just a quote from Damon Lindelof in my local newspaper:

"I think there will be people who say it's the worst ending in the history of television and, hopefully, to balance them out will be my mom, who will say it's the best ending, even though she doesn't understand the show."

Hmm, so he thinks it's an ending only his mother could love???

I'm sure this is just a bit of humor and/or an expectation-lowering strategy. I'm ok with my expectations being lowered, since they may have been a bit too high.

You know that thing the Ultimate Warrior would do when he was getting his ass kicked, he would grab the top rope and start like banging his head like a madman probably do the roids he was taking?

That's what I'll be doing all day today and tomorrow as I await the return of LOST.

I can see millions of people unhappy with the ending.  Whether it's because it still leaves a bunch of things unanswered, or ends it with allegory or symbolism, or just something crazy that still asks questions while it answers them, I'm sure that most people won't like the ending no matter what it is.

I should have said that I am not necessarily lowering my expectations, but rather keeping an open mind so I can enjoy whatever direction they chose to go.

Promos are saying "no more questions, only answers" but the interview clip contradicts that a bit when Claire indicates there are still going to be more questions raised.
