This is most likely the final trailer to appear for THE MIST since the Rated-R film hits theaters in two weeks. The film stars Thomas Jane, Marcia Gay Harden, Andre Braugher, Laurie Holden, Toby Jones, William Sadler, Frances Sternhagen and Jeffrey DeMunn. Frank Darabont (Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile) handled the screenplay and directing duties for this Stephen King adaptation.

Plot Summary: Three-time Oscar®-nominee Frank Darabont ("The Green Mile," "The Shawshank Redemption") reunites with horror-master Stephen King to write and direct this chilling adaptation of the author's original short story. Following a violent thunderstorm, artist David Drayton and a small town community come under vicious attack from creatures prowling in a thick and unnatural mist. Local rumors point to an experiment called the 'The Arrowhead Project' conducted at a nearby top-secret military base, but questions as to the origins of the deadly vapor are secondary to the group's overall chances for survival. Retreating to a local supermarket, Drayton and the survivors must face-off against each other before taking a united stand against an enemy they cannot even see!

THE MIST hits theaters November 21, 2007.

I'm a huge King fan (although this is one of the few I never read.) But his horror movies are never "amazing" films. I haven't had much interest in this, but lately I've been hearing all kinds of amazing buzz. Is this going to actually be a quality horror film?

This is one of my favorite King stories. The scariest stuff is actually the way everyone starts to turn against each other, although I am looking forward to a particular monster scene being brought to the big screen. Really looking forward to this!

It was one of my favorites too, but I remember being frustrated as a kid by not know what the hell the mist was and where it came from!

This was one of my first King novels after The Long Walk. I thought it was great then but movies rarely meet the expectations of the book. I'll definitely see this after I see Hitman.

This is the story that got me hooked on king's writing... I always pictured this as a movie... I can't wait...
