Some new behind-the-scene action has been published by the Los Angeles Times' Hollywood Backlot for The Twilight Saga: New Moon. You can check out the new images and coverage here.

The highly-anticipated sequel stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Rachelle Lefevre, Billy Burke, Peter Facinelli, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone, Michael Sheen and Dakota Fanning. Director Chris Weitz helmed the Summit production from a screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg.

Plot Concept: In the second installment of Stephenie Meyer's phenomenally successful "Twilight" series, the romance between mortal and vampire soars to a new level as Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) delves deeper into the mysteries of the supernatural world she yearns to become part of—only to find herself in greater peril than ever before.

Following Bella's ill-fated 18th birthday party, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and his family abandon the town of Forks, Washington, in an effort to protect her from the dangers inherent in their world. As the heartbroken Bella sleepwalks through her senior year of high school, numb and alone, she discovers Edward's image comes to her whenever she puts herself in jeopardy. Her desire to be with him at any cost leads her to take greater and greater risks.

With the help of her childhood friend Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), Bella refurbishes an old motorbike to carry her on her adventures. Bella's frozen heart is gradually thawed by her budding relationship with Jacob, a member of the mysterious Quileute tribe, who has a supernatural secret of his own.

When a chance encounter brings Bella face to face with a former nemesis, only the intervention of a pack of supernaturally large wolves saves her from a grisly fate, and the encounter makes it frighteningly clear that Bella is still in grave danger. In a race against the clock, Bella learns the secret of the Quileutes and Edward's true motivation for leaving her. She also faces the prospect of a potentially deadly reunion with her beloved that is a far cry from the one she'd hoped for. With more of the passion, action and suspense that made "Twilight" a worldwide phenomenon, "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" is a spellbinding follow-up to the box office hit.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon will hit theaters November 20, 2009.

Jarrod, look into my eyes -- you will describe it to me. You will describe it to me. You will.....not fall asleep until you describe it to me!

I put the insomnia curse upon you! Now, speak the descriptives!

and, while we're at it, oh high speed internet gods, I beseech thee -- lay your hands upon my computer and let me see these goddamned things!

Dude. You gotta get high speed... Cut out the Starbucks, or stop going to the nudie bar. Something, man...

StarlightGuard 9/22/2009 12:12:48 PM

I've never been to Starbucks....actually there was one in the area, but it went bellyup not too long after opening.

I'm not a coffee (or even designer coffee) fan.

never been to a strip joint either...or the local Hooters for that matter

I live, honestly, in the middle of nowhere -- cable isn't available here, DSL isn't available here, cellphone service and wireless internet is a joke here amongst the hills and trees, so the only way I could get high speed would be through the satellite link ups......

we all either accept dial up or deal without

I can't wait when this series will be over.

Is it me or does this vampire guy Pattinson somewhat resembles Boris Karloff's Frankenstein? lol

Doesn't DirectTV have Internet service?  Might be worth it...

StarlightGuard 9/23/2009 7:08:13 AM

the DirecTV bill is costly as it is....how the hell did it shoot up to 75 a month given the fact it's the same package I've had for years now....it was something like 10 bucks cheaper when this started...

criminals

I like living out here in the rural wildlands......I see deer constantly, besides it's really peaceful out here...very conducive to writing....and the fact the cats have lots of land to explore and play on...
