The Twilight Saga: New Moon 'Meet Jacob Black' Preview in HD
Jarrod's read "Twilight" twice by now, Hobbs. It's your turn, Jedi boy. It's either that, or admit the Star Wars prequels are the best movies in the whole series!
I already know what to expect from Jacob -- he's all shirtless and stuff.
And I can't watch the clip...as usual.
But I'm here, showing my support.
Yaayyy support!
I sat through Twilight the other night, not by choice, and I have to ask...What is the big deal with this series? Are the books any good, because the movie was juvenile crap. None of the leads impressed me with their acting. Please tell me the only people going to see this shit are kids and women who sit around all day eating bon bons and watching Oprah. And would someone please get that pattinson kid a comb on something. He looks like he got hairsyling lessons from watching Something About Mary.
Go here wess ...check out the comments (which contain Jarrod's impression of the first novel) along with Maelstrom's reasons for reading the series.
No it's not just kids and women....I like it (obviously) Jarrod and Maelstrom liked it, and a few other straight up, non female, absolutely heterosexual males enjoy it.
My nephew liked it.....and wasn't forced by me to watch it.
And so on and so forth.
as always stated, the books are better than the movies
Wess - The big deal is that it's crap and it makes money, sort of like Stephen Sommer's Gi Joe.
I noticed one of the reasons to read Twilight is to get chics, may I ask how that is working out for you fellas?
Here's a story for ya Hanso. A good friend of mine is a production coordinator in Vancouver, BC. He was in between shows and was offered the chance to work on New Moon. He goes to a party that same night, meets this girl who's boyfriend was elsewhere at the party, they start talking, he tells her he has the opportunity to work on New Moon and she instantly tells him she would leave her boyfriend right then and go home with him...completely serious. The power of Twilight is strong my friends.
He didn't end up taking the Twilight gig cause he prefers to work TV. But still, it makes crap loads of money, the books suck and the actors stare at each other too much in the movies. But it's still like crack and I can't help but read/watch it.
All the power to ya Starlight!
Ok, I'm now intrigued and will have to go buy the first novel and read it. If it's some juvenile read written for teenage girls I swear I'm going to hunt each and every one of you down (especially you StarlightGuard). As a former Marine, trust me, I could do it with ease! ha ha.
jerichoraine...you didn't tell us the importnant part...did your buddy get laid that night!? ha ha
LOL Starlight, I think I'm going to have to concede to the prequels being the bestest ever rather than read Twlight...I finally saw your blog and commented on it. You are too funny.
I would say Twlight probably does help pick up the chicks just from the sheer number of women that love it.
you won't find me wess.....marine or not
I'm out here in the middle of NOWHERE....GPS is faulty at best in this location....electricity is only 20 years older than I am here...
even if you did, I've got a friend who's survived encounters with our wildcats (they're his "pets") not to mention his tour of duty in Bosnia about a decade ago....and he liked the movie himself....and again, I didn't make him watch it...
and who nees a series of books to pick up girls? Hanso is the only woman I'll ever need :)
hanso, dear, you wear the Robin tights tonight.....I'm tired of playing acrobat
STARLIGHT!!!!! I know once you saw the heading of this blog you would be clicking your fingers as fast as possible to see it.
