I must admit I was fondling "Twilight" on Blu-Ray yesterday while visiting my local Best Buy.

Upon the back of it read something like it's the greatest "sweeping romance" since Titanic.

Well, I don't know if I'd go that far.

Yes, I saw Titanic in theaters...and I will admit THAT ONE I was dragged, more or less kicking and screaming to. It was one of those movies that inspires my civil disobedience, where I'd loudly proclaim "DOES THIS MOVIE HAVE A HAPPY ENDING? I CAME HERE TO SEE A MOVIE WITH A HAPPY ENDING! I HOPE NO ONE DIES IN THIS MOVIE!"

Well...I hated to admit it back then, but I did like Titanic. One girl sitting behind my chair was crying the entire movie. (Only now do I appreciate that fact -- if a person can drag any amount of the population in for constant repeat viewings, and they can become that emotionally involved in the story, then they are true filmmakers.)

I also remember the following Spring\Summer season when it came out on VHS, I kept nervously walking around the display, trying to not look at it while I was pretending to search for a Journey CD, and eventually buying the damned movie.

You would've thought I was trying to buy pot.

Anyway...the real point here is...BEDWARD!

No, that's not it. Maybe it's this:

MRS.HANSO: You never take me to see Twilight anymore!

HANSO: Come on baby, I took you to see TDK!

MRS.HANSO: Why can't you be loving and sensitive like Edward?

HANSO: Like Alfred? He's a butler!

MRS.HANSO: EDWARD, you bat loving goon!

I got to admit, I liked Twilight a hell of a lot more than I thought I would. It was a good romance story surrounded by a Vampire story with a goth twist.....it is worth seeing......then again, I just watched High School Musical the other day, and totally loved it, so I don't know if I am the best judge of things anymore,,,I think the THC has finally bumped me up to retard factor five.

I can admit of reading the book, but watching it is another story.

I like vampire films, as long as vampires either kill or turn people. But Twilight is over doing it, there isn't a second one out yet and they are all ready talking about the fourth film.

Umm. That's because the movies are based on a series of books, and there are 4 books in the series.  Naturally, they'll talk about future films.  Otherwise, it would be like making the 1st Harry Potter movie (or LOTR, or Narnia), and not considering making any more movies.
