I like Tobey's performances as Parker, but I agree with VinJoy that he sounds ridiculous when complaining about the working 12- 15 hours a day and for 5 months out of the year.  What the $20MM per film, adulation of millions of people around the world and the ability to unconditionally provide for your children isn't enough motivation to get out of bed?

Can't wait for the JSA story, but in regards to Clark suiting up don't forget that this year they took a step in the right direction. Now instead of the blue t-shirt and red jacket he's been sporting an all black outfit with a black trench coat and he wears the familar S Shield now as well.

The JSA costumes look great except Stargirl. It's very accurate but more cheesy than the others.  I'm curious what Captain America will look like...

Insiders: "A female James Bond"? Crap. And here I thought my books were at least somewhat original...

ok, I never watched Smallville ( except for the pilot episode). Once I had an idea I was watching a "Sup-Opera" I turned away. Yes the costumes look cool, no muscle-bound heros? They look like the cast of the "OC" during Halloween, lol. Honestly, when I look at the costumes, they remind me of Watchmen, in familiar costumes. True this wouldn't fly on the big screen, but neither did Brandon Roush! Good luck Smallville, but if everyone is in costume and there is a crest, why isnt Super-duper in tights?

Does Stargirl fight evil with the Mattel Halberd of Justice?  And does it light up and have sound effects?

The only thing that gives me pause is the size of Hawkman's wings. At least, in the pictures, they look too small. But over all, this looks like it will be very cool. I'm stoked.

From all the pictures I've seen of Hawkman, his wings are entirely too small.  To be even remotely realistic, he should have about an 15 to 18 foot wingspan fully spread (presuming he stands at 6' in height).  From what they're showing, I'd be surprised if he got a 8' to 10' wingspan, meaning the wings look really tiny on him.

The costumes of JSA look pretty cool, definitely good for t.v. , but I agree Stargirl's mask looks foolish, but it's still more faithful than I thought it would be. One thing nobody is mentioning and the main reason this is a must watch is Geoff Johns is writing and he is known for keeping things faithful.

As far as Spiderman goes, I just hope they don't screw it up. I hope they have some good villians.

"To be even remotely realistic..."

... they wouldn't be mounted on some guy's back.

"he should have about an [sic] 15 to 18 foot wingspan"

As I understand Hawkman, he gets his flight from the alien Nth metal he wears and the wings are only for stability. He doesn't gain his flight directly from the wings like birds do.

I wonder if they're going intentionally a little cheesy on these costumes to accentuate that these heroes are from a different era.
