3D is really the whore of hollywood now.
I'll check it out but no 3D

A new preview clip for Sony Screen Gems' post-apocalyptic 3D adventure Priest has made its way online. Check it out below and sound off with your thoughts. The film will star Paul Bettany, Karl Urban, Cam Gigandet, Maggie Q, Lily Collins, Christopher Plummer, Brad Dourif and Steven Moyer. Director Scott Stewart was at the helm, based on a screenplay he wrote with fellow writer Cory Goodman.
Plot Concept: "Priest," a western-fused post-apocalyptic thriller, is set in an alternate world -- one ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires. The story revolves around a legendary Warrior Priest (Paul Bettany) from the last Vampire War who now lives in obscurity among the other downtrodden human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities ruled by the Church. When his niece (Lily Collins) is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires, Priest breaks his sacred vows to venture out on an obsessive quest to find her before they turn her into one of them. He is joined on his crusade by his niece's boyfriend (Cam Gigandet), a trigger-fingered young wasteland sheriff, and a former Warrior Priestess (Maggie Q) who possesses otherworldly fighting skills.
Priest will hit 3D/2D theaters May 13, 2011.
This does not warrent my money for 3D... I'll see in regular formant at a matinee price
The problem is that the smaller budget films, like Priest, get very limited release, so they often don't have the 2D option.
To hell with the 3D. I just want to see this movie. It looks great.
Well...it dosent look like 3D is a passing fad, like it was in the 50's. The movie does look decent though...I am gonna give it a shot.
