I'll give it look. Has a judge Dredd semi post-apocalyptic feel to it, besides, I like Paul Bettany, Maggie Q,and Karl Urban, (she really does need more work). Three of my favorites in one movie. Cool.

I don't need an anti-islam movie but one that depicts the true mohammed would be cool if done by Tarantino. I mean here's the biggest bullshitter in history, he killed, robbed, raped and fooled all the savages of the time that it was ok. I can see some fun dialogue Tarantino style  of mohammed ripping his followers for being so gullible. It could be bloodier than anything Tarantino has ever done too. Of course it may be the last film he makes because we know the response these savages would have.

Preist looks epic! I never read the graphic novel, yet I'm still incredibly intrigued. 

GL news, I don't think descriptions can accurately present us with anything. It's something I'll have to see. I still think that his costume will change and become more like the Rayner version as he learns.  The ring is probably silver when inactive.

Actually just read the whole article for the GL costume description. It sounds more like the original one with deep lines. Can't wait till November for the trailer and DCU Online subsequently.

Wiseguy, that's awesome. I never thought of that before. One of the biggest assholes in history needs his story told. Tarantino would be a good chose for producer, but have Eli Roth direct it in grindhouse style. The fact that Roth is jewish, should just about start WW3.

Sure am glad the ancient Roman Catholic Church has been rendered impotent. Films like "priest"  would not be getting made under charges of heresy, but then this film does not seem to be against the church, rather more like the church has somehow become humanity's defacto protector, for better or worse, in this dystopian future. I wonder if they'll touch on how the people came to embrace western religion once again... You'd kinda think people in the future would see religion as the mythology it really is, but hey, there's frikkin' vampires roaming the earth! 

Hey, that 'Priest' looks friggin awesome!  I'd see that one!

@wiseguy- Yea that would be a kick to see. Tarintino dialogue would rule lol But lets not forget about the whole southpark mishap they had this season with episodes 200 and 201. Comedy central still refuses to air 201-even on their website- and Matt Stone and trey Parker had death threats posted against them from a radical muslim guy- Who by the way was arrested.

Even as good a writer as quentin is I doubt he would have the nerve to do something like that. Hell I doubt anyone would. For fear of death threats.

Damn, that was a fantastic look at Priest. I appreciate the styles here, particularly the Mega-City One/Blade Runner Los Angeles look of the city that Priest comes from. So this movie may deviate heavily from the source material, but no matter. This looks awesome. This role of an outcast here better suits Paul Bettany than it did in Legion. Karl Urban looks cool as Black Hat. I am psyched about this movie. 

 Priest looks healthy and sick all at the same time.
