Man I really want to see these promos but videos are blocked at my work.  I'm looking forward to this second season.  I've been wanting to read the books that inspired this show.  Anyone know if they are good?

I read half on the second book, to see what was gonna happen in the second season.  Nothing special about it.

Can't wait for the new season but I'm pissed they killed Lafayette, he was my fave character.

I really liked the first season but wasn't overwhelmed by it. Still really looking forward to the new one. Maybe we'll get some werewolves. The preview has a quick glance of what looks like could be one.

Also thought Lafayette was great and his link to the state congressman and Eddie could've made for some great possibilities. Maybe they'll find a way to resucitate him, after all that V he used maybe he's partially immortal or something.

Book demise or not, I'm still holding out hopes that Lafayette survives the TV storyline. Really liked his character.

And yes, this is me openly stating that I love True Blood. Can't wait for season two to start.

I did like Lafayette as well.

Yeah, True Blood is pretty cool. I like that it doesn't take itself too seriously. We really need smart and funny sci-fi TV shows to fill the void left by Buffy/Angel.

This is one great show. Never read the books but sometimes that can be a good thing. I read Laurell K Hamiltons Anita Blake:Vampire hunter (Marvel is translating them into comics with Dable Brothers) and IFC is making a TV series out of it and I'm affraid they may FUBAR it. Luckily LKH has creative control over the show as she does the comic so there is hope.
