With their latest animated adventure Kung Fu Panda 2 crossing the $400 million mark worldwide this weekend, the experts over at DreamWorks Animation have turned their attention to their next release of Puss in Boots. Set to arrive in 3D theaters on November 4, you can watch a full new trailer and check out their latest poster here. The film will feature the voices of Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Zach Galifianakis, Billy Bob Thornton, Amy Sedaris and Guillermo del Toro. Helmer Chris Miller directed this early look of the brave feline, based on a scripted tale by Tom Wheeler.
Plot Concept: Way before he ever met Shrek, the legendary Puss In Boots goes on a heroic journey, teaming up with mastermind Humpty Dumpty and the street-savvy Kitty Softpaws to steal the famed Goose that lays the Golden Eggs. It's the adventure of nine lifetimes!

I hated all the Shrek films (minus John Lithgow, he can never do wrong). incorporating current jokes and music into classic fairy tales was just not my thing. This looks like they might be straying from that a little bit but not enough footage to tell for sure. Hopefully they do, otherwise put a bullet in anything Shrek related please.
I admit that I had a bias against this film but I've done a 180. I thought that looked really good and the "it ain't over easy line" cracked me up. Plus it doesn't appear to have much of that snarky humor from Shrek. I'll most likely check this out
I am with castbroad, it looks so bad. The only saving grace is dreamworks knows how to put in some decent dialogue, no matter how bad the movie is.
I thought this looked pretty good. I enjoyed the Shrek movies, but thought that Puss in his own film would be bad...but it looks like it going to work.
Is it me, or does that look funnier then 'Shrek'?
