Director Paul W.S. Anderson and his wife/lead star Milla Jovovich haven't been shy on what went down on their 3D shoot of Resident Evil: Afterlife. And with it approaching theaters in a few weeks, here's yet another behind-the-scene featurette taking you to the set courtesy of Screen Gems and IGN Movies. Watch it down below. The fourth installment (and first in 3D) stars Jovovich, Ali Larter, Kim Coates, Shawn Roberts, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Spencer Locke, Boris Kodjoe, Wentworth Miller and Sienna Guillory. Original helmer Anderson returned from a script he wrote.

Plot Concept: In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice (Milla Jovovich), continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead takes them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead - and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.

Resident Evil: Afterlife will strike 3D/2D theaters September 10, 2010.

What the hell are Majini doing in this?  The big excecutioner guy, and the creatures with the tentacles that come out of their mouths are straight out of Resident Evil 5.  WHY THE F*CK CAN'T THEY JUST ADAPT ONE OF THE STORIES FROM THE GAMES?  Why steal one or two cool elements from the games and then just shoehorn them into places they don't go?

I think the series has gone beyond adapting purely from the games, Scythe.  So they might as well take the story they have been going with for several years now and add elements from the games that are currently popular.  Either way, this looks like a lot of fun but the effects don't look that great.  I remember when Ultraviolet came out.  It was one of the worst pieces of crap to ever be made mainly because of the god-awful effects.  I suppose we shall see.

This looks okay

This guy, Paul Anderson, has been ripping off other movies for his entire career... there are so many scenes from this featurette that look exactly like scenes from the Matrix movies.

Milla is a sell out now, just as low as her husband. I can't believe he ruined a perfectly good actress.

Paul if your reading this, stop copying other people and be creative for once. Some rules are meant to be broken. I can take direction, I can be told what not to do but I like to do things on my own time, unless it's ergent enough to do. Break out of the fold that Hollywood is forcing you into.
