I've been pretty down on Shrek since the first sequel but I gotta admit I may check this out afterall plus it's in 3D

It's been a bit of a trailer bonanza leading into the weekend. With the release of Summit's first trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (see it here) and Universal's revealing of a new Robin Hood trailer (here), DreamWorks Animation has unleashed a new trailer of their own for Shrek Forever After, the fourth and final installment based around the green ogre. Check it out down below.
The fantasy stars the voices of Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas, Jon Hamm, Kathy Griffin and Kristin Schaal. Director Mike Mitchell led the production from a screenplay by Tim Sullivan and Josh Klausner.
Plot Concept: Shrek is feeling over-domesticated in the fourth installment. He has lost his roar. It used to send villagers running away in terror. Now they run to him and ask him to sign their pitchforks and torches. To regain his ogre mojo, he strikes a deal with Rumpelstiltskin. The pact goes awry and Shrek must confront what life would be like in Far Far Away if he had never existed. That translates into Donkey being forced into cart-pulling duty, fat and lazy Puss in Boots trading his sword for a pink bow and the underhanded Rumpelstiltskin ruling the kingdom.
Shrek Forever After will hit theaters May 21, 2010.

Not bad. Looks like it could be pretty funny. We'll see how other previews etc look before I decide whether this is a theater movie or a rental.
Much MUCH more of an improvment than the last couple. Plus I love alternate timelines!!
I just don't get this series, I have tried but I just don't like them. I will pass on this.
I loved the first 3 Movies (I have not seen Shrek 3-D yet), hopefully the fourth one will be just as good as the third movie :).
