Universal Pictures is showing off two new screenshots from their upcoming fairy tale, Snow White and the Huntsman. One shows off the evil queen while the other reveals the Huntsman with dwarves in tow. Check both out below. The adventure stars Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Ray Winstone, Ian McShane, Eddie Izzard, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan, Stephen Graham, Liberty Ross, Noah Huntley, Lily Cole and Sam Spruell. Director Rupert Sanders led the production, based on a screenplay by Evan Daugherty, Evan Spiliotopoulos, Hossein Amini, John Lee Hancock and Jez Butterworth.
Plot Concept: Kristen Stewart plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Theron) who is out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Hemsworth) who was dispatched to kill her. Sam Claflin joins the cast as the prince long enchanted by Snow White's beauty and power.
Snow White and the Huntsman arrives in theaters June 1, 2012.
Too bad for you swiss because kristen is NOT a sulking, pouting, angst-filled, sourpuss, petulant, surley put out snow-white.
She's a good actress who was in a really, really bad movie called Twilight and this movie has anything to do with that so, move on people.

Get out of my head, jedi! I was going to respond with those exact words. I'm getting none of that from the trailer. I guess some people still believe actors are the characters they play. I had that illusion burst for me when I met John Delancy and, as he put it, "I'm not Q. I'm not that witty. He's much better written than I am."
This looks great. I'd see it for Charlize alone, but the rest of it looks very well done.
I like me some Kristen Stewart.

Jedibanner: I dislike her other movies too. Sorry, I just don't think she's a good actor.
lusiphur: I'm pretty sure I understand the difference between actors and the characters they play. However, I'm not naive enough to believe that Stewart (or many actors, for that matter) is a strong enough actress to completely stifle every ounce of her own personality in the roles she plays. Watch any interview and you'll see what I'm talking about. Her need to communicate a complete indifference to everything and her general apathy is a bit off-putting to me. And I feel that this same attitude is carried through on the screen.
That's my own opinion. Maybe I just find it difficult to connect with the teen crowd today. You guys may find it easy to identify with them.
