I'm a long time Trekkie/Trekker and I really enjoyed JJ's Star Trek!  am SO psyched about this sequel! I can't wait!

Wish: I agree wholeheartedly with your observations!

These photos are problematic to me. It just doesn't look like STAR TREK. Practically everyone is holding a pistol in these pics, and they don't even look like phasers. The original hand-held phasers looked cool. I remember how excited I was to buy a model kit to construct one because in those days, they could not be bought in stores. Why not just update the original design and retain some of the look and feel. The focus on guns just doesn't feel right. It's not STAR TREK. Star Trek is supposed to represent other solutions than simply the barrel of a gun. I think I see plenty of that in everyday life. Where's my world of tomorrow that ST is supposed to represent.

The enterprise turning into a temple was a good Data episode. It's not that unbelievable really. An alien probe was able to manipulate the computers replicators to transport pieces of the ship out and replicate stone temple pieces. U can tell in those Data episodes where Brent Spiner gets to not act androidy the whole time, that he relishes in them. Haha

Not all the Wesley episodes were bad IMO. Like the one where Riker brings that crack-like eye game that brainwashes everyone is a good one. And I also enjoyed that de-evolving episode btw.

My favorite episodes tho include the one where they get stuck in that déjà Vu loop and they keep starting off with the poker game. The worf and kern fighting for their family honor series, and the Lacutus series is of course epic. I also love the worf hopping into different realities one. The Barkley episodes I enjoy as well.

I must say tho, as I geek out on Star Trek like I've never geeked before, is that Patrick stewart's Picard is the most awesomest captain in Star Trek. He has so many great moments in this series. That is all for now.

Why are you even on mania muenster? Clearly you're way too cool to actually like anything on here cuz day in & day out u just fill your comment box with constant negativity. So if everything sux why waste your time on a site that obviously is so beneath you.

mustard, has mustard on his undies all the time maybe that's why he's all fucked up and in a bad mood..

My favorite TNG episode is "Brothers" where Dr Soon kidnaps Data and Lore and the three have a family moment together.  I also love the ep where Data constructed a daughter.  So I'm very fond of Data episodes.

But I HATED the one where the Enterprise is turned into a stone temple.  It's just stupid.  How would it maintain hull integrity if pieces of the ship's skin were being transformed into different materials and shapes?  All the air would escape into space and everybody would die.

Karas- the hull was not transformed. Just the inside of the ship.

Ive been a trekker since the Next Gen series. Im enjoying the J.J. movies as well, really looking forward to this.

I do miss the old styel phasers, these pics just look like ordinary guns,

Will we get any random cameos in this? Like we got Will Wheaton as a Romulan in the first one.

They could have a Woopie cameo since her character is actually alive at this time.
