Walt Disney and Lucasfilm have rolled out several new Star Wars Rebels posters. These propaganda posters are original illustrations from Amy Beth Christenson, a member of the Lucasfilm Animation art department who is working on Star Wars Rebels. The cool part of the news is that Lucasfilm is rolling out 2500 six limited edition cards sets of these posters to lucky individuals who happen to be on Lucasfilm’s mailing list. The Force is strong with those that receive them.

Synopsis: "Star Wars Rebels takes place four years prior to the events of Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, a time in which the Empire rules the galaxy with an iron fist. The loyalty of its citizens is entrenched through fear and deception, and the Emperor is seeking to expand his power to the Outer Rim territories. The all-new series tells the never-before-seen story of new heroes that dare to stand up to the ever-growing might of the Galactic Empire in the days before the Rebel Alliance formed".

Star Wars Rebels arrives in the Fall of 2014.

I'm liking the posters.  Not sure if I like that new dark jedi they created.  Does everyone have to have a white face with tatoo's?

He is not a Dark Jedi, he is an Inquisitor, which is just a dark Force user trained by Siddious.  He had many such servents in his employ over the years.

The posters are super awesome and make me want to watch the show more than anything else they have teased us with.

Cool posters! And I'd know... ;)

Kind of corny and hokey if you ask me.  Almost borderline parody / knock-offs that you'd find in a T-Shirt shop or dollar store.   I'll still watch the show however, but having a lot of fun reading Dark Horse's Darth Vader series (and overall take of the timeline between Episode III and IV) that I almost worry Rebels is going to pale in comparison...

I agree the posters are meh and not worth right click saving.  They should feature actual characters in the show in various poses.  Or ships.  Maybe backgroud where they will actually be in the show.

They are very nice and cool looking.

Are these posters supposed to be something that would officially be seen by characters in a cantina or on a billboard in the SW universe or are these just for fun?

The reason I'm asking is that some are recruiting for stormtroopers and aren't they all clones created for that purpose only? Why would you need to recruit them? You just make more.

I must be a total episode IV-VI nerd to notice they missed the AT-AT driver head gear in the one pic and that it looks like they're gonna introduce a new starship per the "Explore the galaxy..." poster. Yes, that kind of stuff geeks me out.

I'm on board for not really liking the new Sith dude. Seems too similar to that alien in episode III that warned Obi Wan that Grievous was present. I guess I expect my Empire baddies to be more ominous and... unique.
