King is always writing a book, no big news there.

Hobbs 3/30/2010 7:44:38 AM much as I like King (at least his early stuff) you do have a point Dazzler.  He's the busiest retired author out there.

But I still like him I just like his books to be 400 pages rather than 1400 pages long. The only time it worked, in my opinion, was with The Stand.

Now - get on with the new Dark Tower, please.  And make it better than the last one.

The last huge book "The Dome" wasn't bad, just that King telepraphed the ending so much that it took away from the shock when it happened. He is a descriptive master but sometimes doesn't need to give away too much information early on in the story.

After this book, there is supposed to be the new "Dark Tower" novel "The Wind Through the Keyhold" that takes place between "Wizard & Glass" and "Wolves of the Calla". Also, a sequel to "The Shining" called "Doctor Sleep", and a sequel to "Black House" as of yet untitled.

He is also working on a Vertigo comic "American Vampire" with Scott Snyder and artist Rafael Albuqurque.

Iracos don't forget about the comic book titled N lol

Hobbs- King announced publicly that he thought of retirement after his big car accident that left him in pretty bad shape- It wasn't until after the recovery process that he bagan to get the juices flowing in him again to write more.

Personally I think his latest stuf is getting better and better- I'm reading under the dome now and I am getting a  kick out of it
