looks like a great summer family movie, but thats about it. i mean 2 people and a kid make it to the center of the earth... if that was the case then anyone can make it. lol. Looks like fun though. I might check it out.. the special effects look cool. The only thing that scares me is the 3-D... usually means BOMB!! (Hey, i kno the movie sucks but if we make it 3-D then even MORE kids will want to go see it.. ;-)

Jonnie...That's not true...The 3-D format has become a viable format because of the advancements in that technology...Peter Jackson plans on releasing LOTR in 3-D and so is Lucas with all the SW movies...After seeing Beowolf in 3-D I now know how awesome it can look...Anything 3-D in Imax is a must watch because the big screen makes it that much better...Then again you may be right and it could be a cover up hiding the true quality of this film, will see...

I think it looks like a really fun, action full family film. I'm definitely checking this out. The 3D trailer shown with Beowulf was great. And I agree with mlaforcer on the 3D. It has come a long way, but directors just need to keep in mind to make a good film first and not to rely on the 3D shots to actually make the movie.

Jonnie...I think that's the plan and to me feels more like cash grab but even so, it should look great...There has been no official announcement yet but I think we will get some info after Lucas starts and finishes his Star Wars t.v. show...Will see...
