Just a few days after revealing two promo ads via his official website, director Michael Bay is showing off a third TV clip for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. The studio has also revealed a new image of villain Shockwave (see above) while best-selling musicians Linkin Park has debuted their new music video "Iridescent" that shows off some footage from the summer tent pole. Watch both the spot and video down below.

The action film stars Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Tyrese Gibson, Kevin Dunn, Julie White, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, Ken Jeong, Patrick Dempsey, Alan Tudyk, John Turturro and Leonard Nimoy. Helmer Bay returned to the director's chair, based on a screenplay by Ehren Kruger.

Plot Concept: The story features Sam Witwicky (LaBeouf) taking his first tenuous steps into adulthood while remaining a reluctant human ally of Optimus Prime. The film centers around the space race between the U.S.S.R. and the USA, suggesting there was a hidden Transformers role in it all that remains one of the planet's most dangerous secrets. Shockwave will be taking over the reigns of the main villain this time around.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon invades 3D/2D/IMAX theaters June 29, 2011.

That looks great but man has Linken Park changed from their good old it's like...meh.

Didn't like their latest album, jedi? I wasn't that much of a fan myself but we did concede the fact that they can scream lyrics through every record release. Those vocal cords can only stand so much...

That birdmen clip is probably the coolest thing I haven seen with Michael Bay's Transformers.  (And therein lies the problem).

It really surprises me how little I want to see this movie.  I may go check it out if gets good word of mouth and my friends want to see it.  Otherwise, I think I'll wait for the Blu-Ray.

Hey Jarrod, yep, I loved LP in the beginning but like you said, those vocal cors have met their max and now it's not the same anymore. I liked their latest song they made for the Transformers 2 soundtrack but now this is just not the same anymore.

Don't worry millean, milleans of us want to see it and the hype is gonna get you when milleans of fans start raving about the awesomeness

TheMovieGuy28 6/4/2011 9:59:39 PM

I haven't picked up a Linkin Park album since Hybrid Theory. I can't remember them doing anything super awesome after that. Hated the Jay-Z 'Encore' mix....

...but I'll say it. In '07, at the end of Transformers, I was digging the song. Same with Fallen. Ha.

B/c Micheal Bay shot this JimboCam style, I am soooo looking forward to the 3D. I've never seen depth like that before Avatar. That should make it alone worth seeing

TheMovieGuy28 6/4/2011 10:01:34 PM

oooh, and Jarrod, where the h-e-double-hockey-sticks is my 'The Rite' poster? Ha!

(besides, Anthony Hopkins' face on a cross is pretty scary in itself.)

has anyone heard the rumors going around about sentinel Prime being a villian, cause ive heard rumors on youtube saying he ends up being the main villian and not shockwave

SmokingFrog77 6/5/2011 5:19:54 PM

TheMovieGuy28 - the closing song on the original Transformers was "Doomsday Clock" by Smashing Pumpkins, not a Linkin Park song.

That precision skydiving stuff is pretty cool, and I have to hand it to Bay for filming actual people doing it rather than just making it all CG or compositing images of stuntmen in a verticle wind-tunnel.

The first clip is just awesome.  That's one thing I love about Bay, he goes all out and tries to film the coolest scenes!!  You can't tell me it wouldn't be one the best experiences to work on one of these films with a guy like Michael Bay.

The Linkin Park video was too embarassing to get thru.  that is some of the lamest shit I've ever scene or heard from them.  I've never been a fan but I've always wanted them to be great.   That video is terrible.  Damn near a deal-breaker for me.
