It's only been a little under a month since Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks revealed their full trailer for Transformers: Dark of the Moon but it seems they're ready to reveal another to those eager fans wanting to see robots smash each other up. On the same week that they centered their first two clips on human characters, the two studios have premiered a new 3D trailer into theaters across the globe. And that trailer can be watched down below (in 2D). Check it out and sound off with your thoughts.
The action film stars Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Tyrese Gibson, Kevin Dunn, Julie White, Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, Ken Jeong, Patrick Dempsey, Alan Tudyk, John Turturro and Leonard Nimoy. Helmer Bay returned to the director's chair, based on a screenplay by Ehren Kruger.
Plot Concept: The story features Sam Witwicky (LaBeouf) taking his first tenuous steps into adulthood while remaining a reluctant human ally of Optimus Prime. The film centers around the space race between the U.S.S.R. and the USA, suggesting there was a hidden Transformers role in it all that remains one of the planet's most dangerous secrets. Shockwave will be taking over the reigns of the main villain this time around.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon invades 3D/2D/IMAX theaters June 29, 2011.
