Walt Disney Pictures and director Joseph Kosinski are adding a little color to their sequel, Tron Legacy, with MTV revealing a yellow light cycle beyond the normal aqua look we saw a few months back. Check it out below and click on the image to see the previous photos revealed by Disney. The film will star Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, James Frain, Beau Garrett and Michael Sheen. Shot in 3D, Joseph Kosinski helmed from a story by Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz.

Plot Concept: Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father's disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin's loyal confidant (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.

Tron Legacy will hit theaters December 17, 2010.

I have a feeling this is going to be great!

I hope they do justice to the first one.

I know this site had a bit the other day that said Tron doesn't hold up, but I still love it.  Some parts are cheese, but over all still a very cool idea and looks pretty frickin cool considering how old it is.  I'm pumped for this as well.  Hope they just wow us like Cameron did with a whole new world.

I was really hoping that this was not going to look as cool as it does, but that's awesome looking....when this comes out, it could very well be the Tron movie that it deserves to be.....wow, they're really going for the gamer crowd on this one....looks good!

I'm not much of a gamer, but I am somewhat of a techno-geek and I'm pumped to see this.

It would be great if in the opening they start out witht the look of the old movie and over the first 5 min show the machine getting upgrades and the look changing until finally it is up to today's stanard. This would be a great way to tie the 2 together.

It is like a kids friendly HR Giger rendering of a bike. Very nice!

almost, I haven't seen the movie in about 15 years so I'm curious how it would hold up too but I still want to watch it again.  I think its like watching a classic black and white movie...it's easy to rip those movies because they are so dated but if you can accept the time in which it was made they are really enjoyable to watch.  The same has to hold true to Tron.

I'm sure the blu-ray version will be out sometime in November so I'll watch it again around that time then I'm looking forward to seeing this movie as well.

I might check this out but I will wait for a rental I may change my mind once i see an official trailer for it though. I also liked the first movie though I haven't seen it in years.

Its cool that Disney decided to do a sequel instead of just rebooting/remaking the original.  Yeah the first Tron looks outdated compared to the CGI nowadays...but its sweet they are making the 2nd like an upgrade of the original with a new story.
