With their long-awaited sequel set to roll into 3D theaters this December, Walt Disney Pictures has revealed their latest character banner for TRON: Legacy. Weeks after showing ones for Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde, this new one is showing returning star Jeff Bridges. Check it out below. The film stars Bridges, Hedlund, Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, James Frain, Beau Garrett and Michael Sheen. Helmer Joseph Kosinski led the direction based on a screenplay by Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz.
Plot Concept: The adventure is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that's unlike anything ever captured on the big screen Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), a rebellious 27-year-old, is haunted by the mysterious disappearance of his father Kevin Flynn (Oscar®- and Golden Globe®-winner Jeff Bridges), a man once known as the world's leading video-game developer. When Sam investigates a strange signal sent from the old Flynn's Arcade—a signal that could only come from his father—he finds himself pulled into a digital world where Kevin has been trapped for 20 years. With the help of the fearless warrior Quorra (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe—a universe created by Kevin himself that has become far more advanced with never-before imagined vehicles, weapons, landscapes and a ruthless villain who will stop at nothing to prevent their escape.

Yes Dazzler, this is indeed our last hope for a great movie in 2010. But so far I'm jazzed. When I saw the 1st trailer, I thought we were looking at another Phantom Menace, a great trailer for a hugely disappointing film. But when I saw that CLU is the villain in the 2nd trailer, I gained some new hope (no pun intended). Hopefully a solid story, and a huge 3-D showdown between Flynn Sr. and CLU will live up to its potential.
This movie is going to rock! I personally think the digitallly de-aged Jeff Bridges looked rather crappy but maybe they'll have polished it up for the theatrical release. I'm personally hoping a digitally de-aged Bruce Boxleitner shows up -- the movie is called TRON legacy, not Flynn Legacy, after all and Tron does need to make an appearance. My prediction is that he'll show up as being a bad guy, assimilated by the MCP (or it's equivalent), or that he'll drop in out of nowhere at the end, just in time to save the day.

This movie has so much going for it already, it had better deliver.
I am SOOOOOOO pumped for this movie!!! I can't WAIT! TRON is one of my guilty pleasure movies, and I love it! This one is going to KICK ASS!!!
