If it was the comics it would be a hand for an eye.  But they obviously are not including that in the show.

 What can he possibly take from Rick outside of his son?  The guy has already lost everything.  Another member, or members of the group?  No biggie.  I think we see that coming.  They aren't going to go the handless route.  So what?   BTW, I'm more interested to see who survives the Meryle vs. Daryl showdown.  Two show favorites have to fight to the death.
