Curious... were all of the zombies inside of the gates supposed to be used as a deterrant (by the residents) from other people coming in? I have never read the comics.

No, those inside the gates are guards and prison inmates that fell on unfortunate circumstances.

If they stay true to the comics, not everyone inside the prison are zombies. You'll see how the survivors where able to stay alive and barricade themselves in. You also learn why they use the tagline this season, "Fear the Living."

Yeah, I'm curious to see how far they are going to take it.. especially with the Governor.

They can't use the Governor as how he is in the comics Vs how he will be in the TV show, too violent, too raw and graphic.

If they keep some of the character's habits and personality , he could still be interesting to see on TV (but then again, it's not a usual practice for the show so...HEYOOOO, I had to say it at least once!)

But ''fear the living''...not too sure, many of the characters from the comic aren't in the tv show so, in the prison, even if they keep the original story to a certain point, it won't be the same since many characters are missing.

It's obviously going to be very different from the comics since Andrea and Michonne end up there instead of Rick.  Will be fun to see how they handle him.  I just hope he's as crazy as he is in the books!

BOOOOOOORING! Sounds like an entire season of loitering around a prison, like Season 2 was largely wasted sitting around a farm. Why all the talk at the end of Season 1 of people in Europe potentially working on a cure if they aren't going to pursue it??
