BBC NEWS ONLINE announced Tuesday the online premiere of the first new Wallace and Gromit movies in six years from creator Nick Park. The new film, THE SOCCAMATIC, is available free, and is one of 10 one-minute shorts which will appear October 22 online for U.S. viewers at ATOMFILMS for $9.95. Later in the year, the shorts will appear on BBC One.

THE SOCCAMATIC finds Wallace and Gromit taking some exercise in the form of football, or as we Yanks call it, soccer. There's a gadget, and cleverness, and so forth.
