Marvel Comics has announced that they have signed TEEN TITANS artist Mike McKone to an exclusive two-year contract with the company. It's a return to the House of Ideas for McKone whose previous Marvel work includes stints on THOR, EXILES, THE PUNISHER and THE INCREDIBLE HULK.

While Marvel didn't disclose a precise time that McKone will begin his art duties for them, the artist did state that he would be drawing his favorite comic book: "I'm going to be drawing the FANTASTIC FOUR!"

As reported by Newsarama today, AMAZING SPIDER-MAN writer J. Michael Straczynski will be taking over writing the FANTASTIC FOUR book beginning with issue #527. Put two and two together and we'd bet that McKone's art chores also start with the arrival of Straczynski on FF.
