I guess I might see this for old time sake, but I'm not at all excited. At least not yet.
And yeah, bdd, she has changed a lot, I agree.
And good one Joey.

I can't wait to see this to allow Chris Carter to show those guys on "Lost" and so many other shows how to write something with dramatic consistency. Still, I think The X-Files has been eclipsed in my all-time-favorite by the new Battlestar Galactica, surely the most dramatically-realistic show on TV and the most politically-insightful in American TV history.

And is Mulder's "I Want to Believe" poster all wrinkled? How can he even be in his office; wasn't he fired? I can't to find out all the answers, spoiler-free when I go into the cinema this summer!

Now if we could only get a Millennium movie along the lines of Season 1, and get Fox to let Mark Snow release his great X-Files music from Seasons 3 through 5 on several CDs.

It'll be great to see an XFiles movie after so long.
A Millennium movie would be nice, but only if Lance Henriksen is in it.I have all the seasons of the series this show was great.

Thanks as well almost.
Whoa, whoa, whoa Muldfeld. Show those guys on Lost? *cough*cough*seasons*cough*8&9*cough*redemtion?*cough*
Lost is tight. Worst season of Lost (3. So I hear. Personally I thought it was great) runs rings over most of the last two seasons of X-Files. And I’m talking as someone who loves The X-Files. Even the last seasons. Lost, however uncertain when it was gonna happen, had an end game set up from the get go so it’s gonna kick ass. Carter had a great start game and then had to start making shit up as he went along cuz there was no end one. Not that Lindelof & Cuse didn’t make shit up on the fly to prolong such a “hit” show after season 1, but the end game was there from the go.
That said I’m wicked psyched for this movie. For Carter’s shot at redeeming the last few seasons. For the chance to get a little more Fox & Dana. For something other than the ‘conspiracy’ story. For some damn fine X-File storytellin’. AND I hope it is good and does well enough that it will allow a chance for a proper ending to the conspiracy story via a third movie. 2012 is coming and The Conspiracy is what most folk tuned in for time & time again. And yes I am wicked lookin’ forward to how Carter’s gonna update us on these two being back in the FBI. My only real fear going into this is Clyde Bruckman is already dead.
And yeah, Millenium was a great show. Didn’t it get a sort of ending in The X-Files during that awesome zombie episode? It’s been awhile & I’m drunk so maybe I’m misrememberin’.
Gillian’s lookin’ a little Julianne Moore-ish in her later years I suppose but she’s definitely a MMHAFBILTAW (Mother Mulder Has Already Fucked But I’d Like Too As Well). Not that Julianne Moore ain’t either.

The new x-files flick makes me belief that some good things might return. And I still hope for another B5 dvd-movie (feature-length please. Not these short-stories.).

Muldfeld...I don't know what you have been watching but the best Lost will beat out the best X-files any day...All the seasons have been great and when you say consistency, you may want to take a look at the last two seasons of X-Files again to make sure you know what you are talking about, especially that movie they made, which by the way was sub par...
