20th Century Fox and Marvel Studios have revealed two new international posters for X-Men: First Class courtesy of FilmZ. One features James McAvoy as a young Charles in front of his school while the other shows Michael Fassbender as a young Erik outside the prison camp. Check them out below as well as the previously released trailer. The early look into the famous superheroes also stars January Jones, Kevin Bacon, Rose Byrne, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Caleb Landry Jones, Lucas Till, Edi Gathegi, Jason Flemyng, Oliver Platt, Morgan Lily, Zoe Kravitz and Bill Bilner. Helmer Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass, Layer Cake) led the direction based on a screenplay by Josh Schwartz, Jamie Moss, Ashley Miller, Zack Stentz and Jane Goldman.

Plot Concept: The story charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to prevent nuclear Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men.

X-Men: First Class will strike theaters June 3, 2011.

I can't wait to see Cyclops in action, as well as Iceman's cool ice bridges. And i think Archangel's flyings scenes are gonna be specatular!!  =D

dawntreader 3/1/2011 12:06:42 AM

i think you have the wrong movie violator

SarcasticCaveman 3/1/2011 1:12:32 AM

No, that'd be first class...Iceman looking like a humanoid snowball, unfurry non-blue Beast, Cyc, Jean and Angel...sounds like the first class to me.  It kills me they're calling this movie by that title simply because they liked the sound of the name.

madmanic999 3/1/2011 2:08:30 AM

If they wanted to stay in continuity they had to make changes because of the inconsistencies in the first 3.... I love this trailer and hope for the movie to recapture the magic.

Darkknight2280 3/1/2011 4:23:20 AM

LOL @ Violator.

Wiseguy 3/1/2011 4:37:00 AM

To recapture the magic it would mean that it had captured the magic once so that isn't happening. I still plan on being there even if it's with a frown. I do think this may be decent despite the obvious

Doesn't Magneto's head look enormous for his body?

No interest in this film at all. Singer should have finished his trilogy and then they should have rebooted the franchise. That said I do want to see how "The Wolverine" turns out, but this one does nothing for me.

Nice one Violator. Don't forget a young Jean Grey that every guy has a crush on a a Beast without fur but big hands and feet.

I'm sooooo not seeing this one. Not one dime spent. I'm usually against movie piracy and downloading as I like to say I support the movie industry going to the movies or buying them on blu-ray, but this one is not getting a penny. I will download out of curiousity and see how they butchered my beloved X-men. After that, I will break out my Marvel Masterworks reprints of the first 67 issues of X-men and read the REAL First Class.

Most feel the same way about this movie but I have a feeling this is going to surprise a lot of people including myself.

Rockhead 3/1/2011 8:32:17 AM

I'm with violator 14 and sarcastic caveman. The First class is Cyclops, Iceman, Angel, Beast and Marvel Girl. Period.

I wish movie execs could get it right.
