20th Century Fox and Marvel Studios have revealed two new international posters for X-Men: First Class courtesy of FilmZ. One features James McAvoy as a young Charles in front of his school while the other shows Michael Fassbender as a young Erik outside the prison camp. Check them out below as well as the previously released trailer. The early look into the famous superheroes also stars January Jones, Kevin Bacon, Rose Byrne, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Caleb Landry Jones, Lucas Till, Edi Gathegi, Jason Flemyng, Oliver Platt, Morgan Lily, Zoe Kravitz and Bill Bilner. Helmer Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass, Layer Cake) led the direction based on a screenplay by Josh Schwartz, Jamie Moss, Ashley Miller, Zack Stentz and Jane Goldman.
Plot Concept: The story charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to prevent nuclear Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men.
X-Men: First Class will strike theaters June 3, 2011.
