Toy Fair hit the Jacob Javitz Center in New York last weekend and NECA unveiled new figures planned for release in 2008. Most noticeably of which were additions to their popular Cult Classics Series.

This year there will be several new additions. New Labyrinth figures Jareth and Hoggle will come in a two pack.

Please note that this is the very first Conan the Barbarian figure to use Arnold Schwarzenegger likenesses. It is also not the final likeness. Then check out the detail of Beetlejuice’s teeth. Incredible.

Even though The Grindhouse failed to deliver at the box office, the film still has its following. Neca is adding to their Grindhouse collection with two new figures.

Neca will also debut another figure for their uber popular A Christmas Story line. Debuting in the fall of 2008 the line will finally get a villain in Scutt Farkus.

Neca also had a figure for a film that has not yet been released. ‘Trick r’ Treat’ is a horror anthology slated for this fall. The figure is going to be released in August 2008.

Collectors take note that Cult Classic series 6 had a short run with their ‘Dawn of the Dead’ Hare Krishna Zombie. So pay attention and look for this rarity right now before it is gone. Fans of ‘Dead' series should also note that this is the last of the Dawn of the Dead figures Neca will be doing.

Nice, now those are some sharp looking sculpts. I think I'm going to have to pick up that Conan.
