I think that thought probably crossed eveyone's mind, Hanso. My second thought was it was a Marvel spinoff of Justin Hammer (which would likely be awful).
Though, with Marvel's track record as of late, I'm sure they could probably make a compelling movie about Speedball if they wanted to...
What if it was a movie about hammers battling to the death and it featured all types of hammers like sledgehammer, gavels, mallets, Claw hammer, etc.?
Hanso-combine your first thought and your second thoughts together and then you got a flick.... but it will end with MC Hammer in a bloody pulp.
What if it's about mc hammer n Justin hammer joining forces to battle the hammer bros. from super Mario bros? In the movie the hammer bros. r dealing speedball so mc n justin pick up their hammers to protect the kids. In the end they find out that the hammer bros were middlemen and that a hammerhead shark is the one they r after. Boom, sequel time.
I've heard about this experiment or one like it where participants created a fictional character named Philip. Over a period of time they gave him an entire history and personality and circumstances on how he died. Then they would perform seances or channeling or something to contact him and were supposed to have actually achieved phenomena caused by him. They sort of made their own ghostly Frankenstein creation.
Whether it really happened or not it does make a good idea for a movie.
Or maybe they could create an MC Hammer ghost. And you know what will happen? He'll appear before them and one of them will reach out to him but he'll say "Can't touch this!"
dont know if its the same Hammer films from the 50's , 60's , but it did the remake of LET ME IN also a good film .
