As a big fan of the genre, I would love to see a Blaxploitation take on Nick Fury...
Maybe they could introduce Iron Fist and Luke Cage in the same movie.

Marvel Studios has two currently untitled releases listed for the 2014 year. One is set to enter theaters on April 4, 2014 while the other project will premiere a month later on May 16, 2014. While the latter has been all but confirmed to be Captain America 2---going by previous interview bits with Chris Evans, the screenwriters and producers---there's been plenty of speculation on what the April release would center on. With a premiere on 4/4/14, early speculation had it possibly being a Fantastic Four reboot. The only issue with that logic is the fact that 20th Century Fox still remains the distributor behind that franchise. Recently, with screenwriters Thomas Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer turning in a screenplay to Marvel, the rumors have turned to the secretive project possibly being Dr. Strange. But what if it's neither one of those? What if it's a Nick Fury mission?
While talking to IMDB about his recent role of FX's "Justified," Captain America co-star Neal McDonough let slip that production on Captain America 2 will likely begin sometime after Thor 2 wraps up. He even narrowed the production launch to late this year with hopes that a Nick Fury film would take off right after that.
"Yeah, they’re planning (to go into production for) Captain America 2 for the end of this year, because Marvel does one film at a time. So they’re going to do Thor 2 and as soon as Thor has wrapped, they’ll do Cap 2. Hopefully right after that, we’ll jump into Nick Fury because that’s the one I’m looking forward to more than anything."
Why is that?
"Because it’ll be me and Sam Jackson. In the real Marvel universe, Dum Dum Dugan is Nick Fury’s right hand man.
…And I just pray that they have a 1970s setting, because I want to see Sam Jackson with lambchops kicking people’s asses for Marvel universe. It would just be awesome. And to work with Sam would be a treat. We’ve become friendly over the years."
For what it's worth, IMDB has been quick in adding a Nick Fury (2014) listing at their index. Complete with three stars rumored by way of Samuel Jackson, Neal McDonough and Clark Gregg. Whatever the case, with production on Thor 2 and Iron Man 3 heating up this summer, you can expect Marvel Studios to officially announce the 2014 films soon enough.

I would love to see a Nick Fury film with the Howling Commandos. They need to introduce the inffinity formula at some point and tie it back to WW2 maybe saying hat he changed his name to avoid any suspicion as to his aging. Same thing for Dugan

Read it again. They are releasing two movies, Captain America 2 and the unnamed one. They're speculating on what that is, and while they release two movies a year, they only have one in production per fiscal year.
Do we really know for a fact that Fox continues to hold the movie license for Fantastic Four, or is this just an assumption? What we do know for certain is that each of the Marvel movie licenses has been different. The X-Men license required a fairly short time between movies in order to retain it, which is why X-Men: First Class had to be rushed into production. We also know that Daredevil has an absurdly long time between movies available to Fox, since we know that in March 2011 Fox announced that Director David Slade would be doing the reboot. The original Daredevil movie was released in 2003, so a ten year limit appears to be the case.
It is certainly true that there has been no big announcement regarding Marvel Studios regaining control of Marvel's First Family. This doesn't necessarily mean anything, though. Marvel Studios waited until SDCC 2010 to announce that they had regained the rights to The Punisher. Perhaps Fox's license on the FF has expired. There was an unconfirmed rumor to that affect in August of last year.
If Marvel Studios does have the rights to the Fantastic Four back, I hope they go Pixar on it. They did an amazing job with The Incredibles, and no doubt would do the same for the FF. The franchise would work far better as a family film than a summer action blockbuster. Besides, the studio needs to diversify and Pixar proved that such a movie with these sorts of characters can be extremely effective.
Please oh please let the title of this movie be: Nick Fury: Snakes on a Helicarrier! (Complete with a cameo from the Hoff!) - well, a guy can dream, can't he? :)
I've never been a huge fan Nick Fury, and admittedly don't know much about him other than he is the head of SHIELD. However, after seeing The First Avenger, I'd be down with a Fury/Howling Commando team up.
I'd rather see a (Ruffalo) Hulk, Ms Marvel or Black Panther movie before Fury, but I won't be lodging any complaints.
In regards to the Fantastic Four, it looks like Fox is still in charge of it. There have been reports that the director of the new teens with superpowers film Chronicle is up for the director's chair for the FF. It depends on how well his new movie does. But it could be that Marvel and Fox will work together on the film. Don't know for sure.
On the Nick Fury movie, I wonder if they'll have Hydra as the bad guys. To the public it would look like they are ripping off the GIJoe movies, but we will know it's actually the opposite.
I hope that Marvel get the FF back, that we can see a proper Silver Surfer. The Human Torch giving the Surfer a boost, what a crock.
Black Fury should be interesting. With all his cameos it's time for a solo flick. It could be a movie with lots of little stories with him watchguarding the US or world. Maybe pull in small time talent like Moon Knight or Deadpool to do his dirty work. White Fury wanted Punisher at one point working for him that would be a good way to get a workable Punisher movie.
I always thought the only way to get a decent Fantastic Four reboot would be for Marvel Studios to produce the movie and then just get Fox to distribute it...
What do they mean they only do one film at a time?
Iron Man/Incredible Hulk in 2008 and Thor/Captain America in 2011!
