Perhaps the worst-kept secret about the 'Iron Man' movie is the notion that Samuel L. Jackson would have a cameo as none other than Nick Fury. After months and months of evasive statements by everyone involved with the film Marvel did a final head-fake when they released early, review prints of the movie without any such scene in it.
Indeed, the version Comics2Film viewed on Tuesday did not contain the fabled confab with the director of S.H.I.E.L.D.
However, many fans have now seen the actual theatrical release of the film and are confirming the scene is there, running after the credits.

Basically Tony [Stark] walks into his living room and a man in the shadows says something like Iron Man being a part of a larger universe. The man walks out of the shadows... it's Samuel L. Jackson with an eye patch saying something about "the Avengers Initiative". cool huh?
You bet!
The video has been bopping around video sharing sites all week as well. Thanks to G-Rich for finding it on MySpace. View the clip before it disappears!
after the credits...
