MTV Movies Blog got actor Nicolas Cage talking about 'Ghost Rider 2'. Turns out the actor is eager to do it and has some crazy ideas for what would happen in the sequel.
"I would love to do another Ghost Rider," Cage told MTV. "I'd make him really dark. Way dark."
That would include trading up to a new habit.
"We're done with the whole back story now; he should come back, but this time he should come back drinking," Cage said. "Now the demon has taken over. He's not eating jelly beans anymore; he's getting drunk, and we'll see what happens there."
Cage is no fan of the comics villains either. "I think it would be good to invent some new villains," he said. "A lot of the villains that were created for Ghost Rider ended up in the Batman sequels — Scarecrow and all that. So, I think we should build something from scratch."
And the icing on the cake?
"If they put Ghost Rider in a team-up with Spider-Man, that'd be hilarious," Cage said. "I would love that."
