I hope they keep it just a tadbit dark as it should be, unlike the live-action campfests of the original trilogy of overly kid-friendly pics.  Now, I know these are a bit more for the youngins but they can be so much better if it wasn't a live action film trying to be a cartoon.

I've seen all the Turtles movies, and I spent a lot of my youth watching all the cartoons...

I only had one complaint about the TMNT movie from a few years ago....that whole business about the stars aligning and 13 monsters being unleashed...

I'm sick of those plot devices....seriously, the stars need to stop aligning, damnit, because frankly it's a cheap excuse to hang a story on

but why not do another CGI movie? it seemed to work better than the original trilogy.....not that I have anything against that original series....

Though I can understand why many people would be excited to hear this news, I am not one of them.

Though I appreciate the uphill task of creating and developing a TMNT live-action film (the 3rd TMNT movie was as bad as it gets), I felt that the animation in the latest TMNT offering was quite appropriate for the Heros In A Half Shell -- though that whole mystical monster thing wasn't really their bag.  Personally, I'd love to see a return to their B&W indie-comic roots including their never-ending war against the evil Foot Clan. 

Let's face it, Shredder is to TMNT what Darth Vader is to Star Wars, Magneto is to X-Men and Joker is to Batman.

I still love the first turtle movie and if it goes back to that (though i'm not too thrilled with the cgi turtles mixed with live action) but drops all the kiddy stuff i'll be fine. There was only  a few things i would have changed in it, nothing really springs to mind right but but not as must as 2 and 3.

The 4 one had its share of problems but was good and underappreaicted. Ralph vs Leo was freaking awesome.

Unless they are planning on bringing back Vanilla Ice there is no reason to keep making TMNT movies for none can match the awesome Turtles 2.

I enjoyed the cgi film from a couple of years back, so live action or animated I'm up for more TMNT. 2011 is shaking up to be a hell of a year for movies.

Hanso, u dont really think Turtles 2 was good do u?!  I hope u were joking!  As for the upcoming turtles movie(s), they should have muscular guys painted in green, wearing a turtle shell, while the head is cgi.  It will have to look good though.  I believe its possible to pull it off !

Let's go down the list shall we.  Tokka & Razar?  Check.  Super Shredder?  Check.  Ooze?  Check.  Awesome song by the artist formerly known as Vanilla Ice but now is doing god knows what under his real name Rob Van Wikle?  Check.  And let's not forget the film has Ernie Reyes Jr who later when on to unleash upon the world Surf Ninjas!

Now I ask you, how can any other Turtle film compete with that?  I will answer it for you. IT CANNOT BE DONE!

I just want shredder to return. That was the biggest problem with tmnt, the main villians were monsters from another dimension. WTF?! Give shredder and the foots.
