Nick Cave writing The Crow reboot is perfect  but I wish Norrington would just step off.  I would rather see someone like Duncan Jones direct but check out The Proposition. Maybe Hillcoat would have been a better choice.

I love Nick Cave but I think the time of The Crow has come and gone. The first film was cool but everything that followed sucked. Including the comics that followed O'Barr's (who is always boohooing because he didnt make any moey off the film) miniseries that started it all, which itself was pretty contrived and juvinile. At the time there were a few people who I guess lived in a cave that thought the whole Goth thing was new but that stuff was 20 years old by the time The Crow hit... I donno I just can imaging this being anything other than some emo angstfest. Pass.

I agree with Wiseguy and anybody else who disagrees with what the article said about the Punisher. The Punisher was the same deal as the X-Men, Spide,y, GR etc, just with LionsGate.  It was not a true Marvel Studios production, but a licensed property. C2F, if you care to confirm it, it's easily confirmed.

The time for a Punisher movie was before Tim Burton's Batman. That movie, his view of Batman, a dark brooding tech driven vigalante, who mostly deals his revenge/justice in the dark, pretty much sums up The Punisher (Yes I know about Batman's one rule, which, is stupid, I mean why bother being a vigilante? Yes I understand that The Punisher is all about the firepower and his stories are more like assassin porn, but you know what I'm saying..) In my opinion, that's really the only true difference in character between the two. Since Batman was such a huge hit, and has been engrained as THE vigilante in black, I just don't think The Punisher will ever get a fair shake in a movie. Don't believe me? Take Batmans stuff away and give him guns and lose the one rule...who do you have? When Batman first went out in his first version of the Bat suit in Batman Begins, my Girlfriend asked me if I was watching The
