Yessir...looks dandy. I think I have to agree with those theories. I think that chick he's with in that tower is part of a larger conspiracy trying to hide the fact that humans really didn't win the war. The rest of the consortium, the head honchos of humanity, want to keep it hidden in order to keep their rule over the human remnants in space. If they figure out we lost or that the war isn't truly over it could screw up everything they have built and people will want to return to Earth in order to finish the war and kill all the aliens once and for all.
I'm actually excited about this.









This looks to be worth the time to check it out, with all of the intrigue and questions surrounding the purpose of Cruise's character. I agree with wish in that he rarely picks crap movies to do, even if not the best character.
On a side note, while poking around for this trailer, I came across The Mortal Instruments - The City of Bone, which is the first in a trilogy of books. It looks tweenish, but dark enough to appeal to adult viewing. Maybe that trailer will be up here soon as it is genre material. (Half human - half angel prophetic warriors battling hidden demons).
