Zentertainment's Ryan Scott Otney recently interviewed Powers' artist Michael Avon Oeming.During the course of the interview, Otney was able to ask Oeming a fewquestions about the big screen adaptation of Powers, currently in development.
Oeming told Otney that the film is currently in the script writing process.Oeming said he believes that they are on about the third draft of the screenplay.
When asked if he and fellow creator Brian Michael Bendis have any creativecontrol over the film Oeming replied that he and Bendis get to see thedrafts when they are finished. The two then are able to offer commentsto the scriptwriters. The writers are not obligated to use the pairs' comments.
Oeming said that Doug Miro and CarloBernard are still the writers on the film, as originally reported by C2F.The pair previously wrote the script Motor City.
