I've always thought that Brock Lesnar has the face and the physique for the Rhino.  Acting ability, not so much.

Conan Stevens has Lesnar by a foot and is an actor.

I'm not seeing what the big deal is with Paul Giamatti playing Rhino, they didn't make Rhys Ifans strap on a big freakin' lizard suit for the first movie, it was CGI. If they can make Ifans look like a lizard man and do a fairly decent job of it then why can't they do the same for Giamatti? I'd almost bet that the Rhino in the movie does not look anything like the Rhino in the comics. People are getting all worked up for nothing.

So wow that's quite a cast!  This could be the first super-sequel to bomb out of sheer apathy.......but I'm sure it'll make its money and greenlight a threequel.......sigh.......I just don't really care about Spiderman anymore......there is just way too much out there being worked on that has my attention......and the Spiderman film last year wasn't that memorable........

Wow too many titles. I am sorry but I am so tired of Hollywood needing to try and force racial equality by counter casting traditional characters. Electro is white. Never. EVER has he been black, or hispanic.

If you want a black villain bring one in. How about TOMBSTONE? He was black, and he could beat the SNOT outta SM. It gets old seeing these jackholes trying to make things fair. Hey I know, then lets cast a white guy as Rhodie....wait, no that won't work until they run outta black actors to play him.

Okay I am not sure if they are tapping the Ultimate verse for this version of SM, but if so why not set it up that he fights Goblin like in the comics and Goblin and him kill each other? Then you can bring in a Negr-asian blend to play SM like in the comics. There are so MANY legit ways you could be racially inclusive without changing one of the legendary baddies from SM gallery.

Has Sony actually stated that Giamatti is the Rhino? Or has the internet been "speculating" and Sony hasn't said yay or nay. Something about this casting has me thinking they might be doing a "Ducart/Miranda Tate" type thing where we think Giamatti will be the Rhino or use the Alter-ego name for a bit, but might actually be Norman Osborne.
