The official website for SAW IV has launched for Lionsgate. The site features past traps by sinister mastermind, Jigsaw, as well as clips for the latest installment of the franchise--including the red band look at the trailer we presented yesterday--starring Tobin Bell on a slab getting cut open. If you're interested in the fourth installment of the franchise, perhaps you'll keep an eye on this website looking for the latest updates. If you find something interesting, feel free to email Mania or myself (found in my blog).

Here's the new website.

SAW IV hits theaters October 26, 2007.

I said it before and I'll say it again,
Sheesh, THEY SUCK!
The first Saw was good, gory, but not gory for the sake of gore. SAW 2-4 SUCK SUCK SUCK. They are just bad movies, that aren't meant to be. So many people bash Spiderman3 or TF but will defend this trash. It's just lionsgate way to make some $$$ sop they can compete with larger production companies. Good business, SHITTY MOVIES! My girlfriend loves th so called "phsycological edge" of these films and makes me rent them. I think the are regurgitated throw up. (thats stuff thats been regurgitated, then regurgitated AGAIN!)

C'mon, if Donnie Whalberg didn't want anything else to do with the "franchise" after saw2 then that says something. They have no point and they glorify violence. I have no problem with violence in media, but I prefer it to have some relationship to the plot. But then again these crapfest of movies don't really have plots do they.

Gauleyboy? Can I get a ride in that time machine of yours so I can see if SAW IV really sucked.

I like the SAW movies because of the plotlines and twists & turns, not because of the gore. As for Donnie Wahlberg, what do you think he turned down SAW II for? I don't remember his nomination for any Academy Awards. Also, if you may or may not remember, Donnie was in the beginning of SAW III, so I don't think he was in a rush to be in a Merchant-Ivory production.

As for plots, try following them. I think the SAW plot are quite lucid and have a "devil's due" payoff in all of them.
