T4 Looking Arnieless - Apr 07, 2006 - 04:11pm
I have to agree that AVP was terrible, T3 was less bad. At least it had some good action scenes. What was up with making the Predators in AVP look like blocky football players instead of sleek, powerful hunters?
I will always be a fan of Arnold, so I hope he makes at least a cameo in T4.
As for the question of how does the TX even exist? I figure that since Skynet was delayed and resulted from networked computers (T3) instead of a powerful mainframe system (T2) the war of the future has been delayed and has changed in its character some. Version A of the future (T1 and T2) only had the T-800 and prototype T-1000. Version B (T3, where Sarah and John both eventually die) has the T-800 (presumably), the T-850, and the TX.
Immediately after seeing T3, I had a whole list of ways I would have made it better while keeping the same story. I always thought that because of the fine electronic capabilities, the TX should be fast and agile, but relatively fragile. The T-850 is a brute and should be able to wipe the floor with her, if he can get past her electronics.
Wow, I haven’t done this much fan speculation over anything in years. Reminds me of the good old days.
