The new anime announcements for Otakon are

• Divergence Eve


• Cyber Team in Akihibara,

They also have the live action Shinobi film



From the manga line, ADV announced the following new acquisitions:

• Chrono Crusade


• Kagura


• Your and My Secret


• Rise R^2


• Desert Quarrel


• Louie the Rune Soldier


• Blue Inferior

Some dates for already announced titles are:

• September 9: Full Metal Panic #1


• September 16: Azumanga #1


• October: RahXephon Bible, Filme Book FMP, Gunslinger Girl,


• December: Azu #2, 1 SAK, 2 Demon City Hunter #l 1

The ADV Toys will have original toys and stuff from Japan. Angelic
Layer and Azumanga Daioh stuff will be coming out!



Newtype now has a circulation of over 100,000.



The Q&A session began next. We found out that a rights changeover
caused the delay in the Slayers Movies/OVA. Saint Seiya will go as long
as it will sell. Can?t confirm or deny
licensing the movie. Can?t talk about new Saint Seiya series yet. They
will doing all of Mazinkizer.



Some asked about the Anime Network in Canada. Unfortunately problems
with Canada Broadcasting Canada.
