The thursday before Otakon, many members of the Anime on DVD
chat channel (#animedvd on dalnet) got together at a local sushi bar and
consumed many many many pieces of sushi.
We didn't get a chance to take too many pictures, but we have
a few to share. We'll be taking plenty more pictures on Friday!
From the left side going up and then coming down on the right:
Chris Beveridge, Reikun, Dr. Anime, (empty chair belonging to Mill-chan who
took the picture), Tena73, Ken Chen, Person X, Sagechan, Mihailis and Raziel.
On the back upper left at another table is Youkai. Since we became the cool
table, we snubbed 'em and didn't take their picture.
A truly amazing thing. Reikun and Raziel, not grasping just
how much sushi they were ordering, were subjected to a surprisingly large
amount... just after they finished the buffet portion they had gotten.
Knowing that their honor was at stake, Reikun and Raziel
persevered and manages to eat all of it. There were much longer breaks as the
final few pieces were consumed. It was promptly washed down with a lot of
sake. Those photos are unavailable however.
