Our scoop confirmed for AMITYVILLE HORROR

Casting news for THE AMITYVILLE HORROR remake coming from MGM and Dimension Films appeared today in Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, and both magazines confirmed our anonymous scoop from two weeks ago.
Four new cast members for the HORROR were announced in the trades, among them Philip Baker Hall, Rachel Nichols, Jesse James and Chloe Moretz, the latter actress being the individual we were scooped as being in the movie's cast. Thanks to the trade stories we learned Moretz's character's name is Billy.
Hall will play Father McNamara; James is another of the Lutz's children, Chelsea; and Nichols is a babysitter.
And the movie began shooting today!
