"Heroes'" Sylar is Misunderstood? - Jan 29, 2007 - 08:25am
I agree with larkcall. Sylar's power is the ability to figure out how something works just by looking at it. I think the way he obtains other's powers is looking at how other people with powers brains are wired and taking their DNA and adding it to his own somehow..... Really, they haven't explained enough of it to fully understand how it works. Peter on the other hand is a Mimic (just like the one from the earlier X-men comics. He manifests other peoples powers while near them.
Battlestar Galactica to upset fans? - Jan 22, 2007 - 08:42am
Starbuck is going to find out she's a Cylon and go kamikaze to save the Galactica somehow. Mystery solved.
MGM shows green to two "Stargate" films - Jan 16, 2007 - 09:54am
It's good to hear that they are moving forward with these. The first movie sounds very promising and I'm really looking forward to seeing how it plays out. The second movie...... I think it sounds about as lame and cliche as humanly possible. Been there, done that bought the t-shirt. I was hoping for something different or maybe something about things that have been mentioned but never gone into (the mysterious unrevealed furling race for instance). Not to mention, if they are doing some weird time travel thing it wouldn't be Baal leading the charge as he was a fairly minor system lord before the SGC's interference in galactic affairs. It'd likely be someone like Apophis, Cronos or Sokar.
