Pacific Rim was one of my favorites from last year.  Glad to see there's another one coming.  GdT is awesome!

Here we go about something that is going to happen almost 3 years from now.  When you get to my age you stop taking 3 years for granted...and start appreciating every minute in the here and now.

I didn't think Pacific Rim was a great movie by any means.  I just came from a thread on this website discussing the movie Snowpiercer and some guy was picking apart the unrealistic elements of that film. He'd have a field day with Pacific Rim.  That said PR was an incredibly entertaining, enjoyable movie. What's not to like about giant Robots fighting giant Monsters...who cares about character development or plot. The visual effects of Pacific Rim were great, it 's particularly beautiful to see in 1080p on a big HD TV.  I hope in the 2017 rematch one of the fights takes place in daylight so I can follow it a little better.

PR wasn't one of my favorite movies but it was enjoyable. It was alittle too much like a live action anime with exaggerated actions and characters. Still happy he gets a sequel. He'll have to add it into his long list of other movies he's supposed to be working on.

Great news really want to see more of  this universe.  Really enjoyed pacific rim, be interesting to see if they do the animated series in anime style.

More action in daylight please.. Nothing beat the small skirmish between one of the monsters and Striker Eureka (the part when the monster tore down the wall towards the beginning of the film).

Id really enjoy some heart felt characters I could appreciate. Sorry but the screenwriting was pretty bland. Except Idris when he made the speak, but really that was it.
